Serendipity — an aptitude for making desirable discoveries by accident; good fortune; luck.
The occurrence and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way.
The faculty or phenomenon of finding valuable or agreeable things not sought for.
Following serendipity is a winding path, a way of life, a form of worship.
Serendipity has led Kymberly Dawn Keaton to the woods of northern Florida where she lives with her gorgeous husband and funny, clever dogs.
She’s been a ballerina, a bartender, and a BMW motorcycle rider. She’s been a teacher, a state worker, and a pagan high priestess with her naked toes buried in the earth, howling at the moon.
And though this is a blog, full of observation and commentary on things that really happened, she is at heart and soul a fiction writer, and will never let a plain memory stand unadorned when new words and a different light can make it glitter and shine.
Step on the path, find your rhythm, and run, walk, or shuffle-ball-change until you find the sacred steps you are looking for.
